Our Story:
My husband, "farmer", and I met while in college in Colby. He was invited to the after rodeo dance by a friend of mine and for him he knew that he wanted to get to know me better right away. I on the other hand was "sewing my oats" and had no interest in settling down with a man who knew what he wanted and was ready to settle down and get there. I put my poor husband through so much but his stubbornness and perseverance won me over. After a year of off and on communication, I finally realized I couldn't live without him. 2 1/2 years later we married and have welcomed our beautiful daughter.
Farmer is now a Kansas State University graduate with a degree in Agronomy. We farm with my in-laws, including grain crops, and cattle. Farmer also works in soil sampling to make ends meet. He is the hardest worker I know, and I am so proud to be his Farm wife.
I have an associates degree in Applied Sciences as a Physical Therapist Assistant and work three half days a week at a local nursing and rehabilitation facility. I spend the rest of my time being mommy, wife, chef, chauffeur, grain cart driver, maid, laundress, dog walker, cat feeder, road blocker (for moving cows), gate opener, gate blocker, food delivery girl, and about a million other things along the way!
