DIY Dog Food Storage

I recently saw a pin on Pinterest where some one took an old popcorn tin, painted it and used it to store their dog food.
I had already been using an old kitty litter bucket to store ours. (Gotta use something when it comes in a 50lb bag)

This is what I started out with.

At first I just painted it, but the purple started to peel since I was painting on plastic, so I ended up spray painting it later. (still a fun purple)

I used chalkboard paint for the lid. And wrapped a ribbon around the handle and top part of bucket, using hot glue to attach.

Here is the finished product. Not perfect but much better than the ugly bucket from before!

Couldn't have done it with out my little helper!
